Homecoming 2019 was a success. Students enjoyed spirit week, a pep rally complete with a staff vs. students flag football game, followed by a parade, the football game, and a dance. Holmes seniors Jamir Ruff and Deara Stowers were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of the game.
The SkillsUSA/FBLA float built by Mr. Breetz's carpentry students won the trophy for the best parade vehicle.
The Bulldogs lost to Newport 28-12 in a hard fought football game that ended with both teams huddled together for a prayer.
The dance was held at The Leapin Lizard in Covington.
