Covington Schools interpreter among the finalists for the 2017 Next Generation Leader Award

Mayra Sidler Guzman, a community liaison and interpreter for Covington Independent  Public Schools, is among the finalists for the LEGACY 2017 Next Generation Leader Award in the education catgory.  

The Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati’s Young Professional Organization, announced the 2017 Next Generation Leader Award finalists.  

The Next Generation Leader Awards (NGLA) are designed to salute the region’s young professionals under the age of 40 for significant accomplishments in their chosen professional field, demonstrated leadership, as well as their contribution to the community.

The NGLAs are sponsored by Northern Kentucky University’s Executive Leadership and Organizational Change graduate program.

Additionally, the Northern Kentucky Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation will present the 2017 Emerging Philanthropist Award to Clare Blankemeyer of The Mayerson Foundation and Impact 100. This award recognizes a young philanthropic leader who demonstrates a passionate desire to give back and make Greater Cincinnati a more vibrant, prosperous region where everyone can thrive – and inspires others to do the same.

Award winners will be announced at the award ceremony on July 13 at The Madison Event Center in Covington.
