Week 1 - 5th Grade

Week 1

Each week, we will highlight different grade levels/classrooms and the awesome things happening. This week, check out what fifth grade has been up to:

What a fantastic first week of fifth grade!!!!

Things that are happening:

Students are learning about the 5 themes of geography in Social Studies. In Math, they are learning about large numbers and the values of those numbers to the hundred millions in math class. In English Language Arts, the focus has been on comparing and contrasting literary elements. Ask students about SPAF in writing!

Students have engaged in various activities both inside and outside of the classroom. We have tetherball now as well as disc golf. And, the girls have been learning how to “jump in” when jumping rope!

Fun times in and out of the class!! We are looking forward to an equally successful second week ☺
