If you have called school recently and heard an unfamiliar voice on the other end, it was probably me, Mrs. Frank. Much of my life I have worked with children in varying capacities. After a 6-year hiatus due to medical reasons, I was very eager to get back to doing what I love and working with children. I was drawn to LES because it was in my neighborhood and had a big gorgeous garden. I began volunteering in the garden in Spring 2018 and Fall of 2018 I joined the CLC after school program as activity leader. I was doing what I love and was eager for more. In December 2019 I became a Math interventionist and continued to stay with CLC working on the after school and summer programs. Now in December 2020 I have made yet another change, filling the shoes of Mrs. McGee, and becoming the new administrative assistant. I will continue to work with our students in the CLC program both after school and during the summer program. It is the best of both worlds for me. I get to use my organizational and leadership skills and still get to work with our students in small group settings. I look forward to meeting so many more families in 2021.
