September 20 is "High Attendance Day"

High Attendance Day

The Kentucky Directors of Pupil Personnel has designated September 20 as “High Attendance Day” across the state of Kentucky.

Elementary, middle and high schools will compete for the highest percentage of attendance that day. The school with the highest attendance rate will be awarded $500 from the state.

In addition, an elementary and secondary student in Covington Independent Public Schools in attendance that day will have an opportunity to win  an HP Chromebook.
.
Here are Covington’s rates from last year’s high attendance day. Can we beat them?
