Senior Graduation Parade

Senior Graduation Parade- June 5th, 1:00 pm

To help celebrate you and your accomplishments, we will be facilitating a non-traditional parade on the date you would have walked across the stage at Holmes High School had we been able to finish up the year on campus.

Students will need to provide their own transportation.  Please email Ms. Bowen at bradie.bowen@covington.kyschools.us if you plan to participate in the parade.  Include if you will be driving or riding in a car with someone else.  You must submit your response by May 30 in order to be approved to participate in the parade.

Cars will meet in the Eastern Ave parking lot and will need to be parked in a line heading towards Madison Ave. no later than 12:45 on June 5.  You should remain in your car while waiting in the lot for the event to begin.  We will proceed through Castle Ct towards Madison where the traffic will be blocked by an officer so all cars can exit at the same time.

No other intersections will be blocked so all cars participating in the parade must adhere to traffic signs and lights for the remainder of the parade route.  Cars will head north on Madison and will disperse once they reach River Center Drive.  Once you have reached River Center Drive, that is the end of the parade event.

It is vital that anyone participating practice safe behaviors- adhere to all traffic rules, remain safely inside your car at all times, and be mindful of pedestrians.  Feel free to decorate your cars to show the community your bulldog pride!  Graduating from high school is a huge step towards your future and you should all be proud of yourselves.  This is your chance to show the city of Covington what you’ve accomplished!
